On Friday, November 14, the Bradetich/Grove Duo will perform “Music of the Americas” on flute and guitar at the Panida Theater. Sandpoint native Rhonda Bradetich and guitarist Paul Grove have toured extensively throughout the Western States and are now back for a special evening concert on Friday, November 14 at 8 pm, brought to you by Pend Oreille Arts Council and Unicep Packaging, Inc. Tickets are $16, or $12 for Pend Oreille Arts Council members, and $8 for students 18 and under.
The award-winning duo of Rhonda Bradetich and Paul Grove offers classical, ethnic and jazz music in an approachable, intimate atmosphere, both entertaining and informative. Hear blends of American folk music from Appalachia, South American tango, Native American and Latin American jazz music as they light up the stage with a lively program for all ages. This is the second performance in Pend Oreille Arts Council’s 20th Annual Performance Series.
Gail Bunker of the Southwest Symphony Orchestra in Utah, remembers the Duo fondly. “Rhonda shines as a supreme master of flute and has a maturity which, together with her wide range of expressions and tonal finesse allows her to display the unexpected beauty of her instrument. Grove displays high professionalism with refined musicianship and a fingering virtuosity that hypnotizes the listener.”
