Full Description:

Pend Oreille Arts Council (POAC) invites you to the Panida Theater to warm up during Winter Carnival in Sandpoint. On Saturday, January 17, POAC and Tomlinson-Black will present Bakra Batá at 8 pm. These high-energy steel drummers and dancers rhythmically bring together the percussive sounds of Brazil, Africa, Cuba and Haiti. With the sounds of Jazz, Reggae, and Bossa Nova, Bakra Batá has no stylistic boundaries. They’ll make you want to get up and dance! Additional press releases about Bakra Batá will be sent January 5-17.
